The key to happiness is family and licorice

Hello there!
I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and it left you with a full stomach and full hearts. A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking pictures of the Dunderdale family. Let me just warn you... the caliber of CUTENESS is astronomical. Meet the amazing parents Marc and Mary and their three fun-filled kids Max, Ella, and Lola.

Max may have been hesitant in the beginning to get in front of the camera but by the end he was running around looking for different things to do so I could take pictures of him!
I have heard since I met Ella that she is a mini me... Well I wish I could have been so cool when I was her age.  After a few shots in front of the camera she really opened up and started acting like the fun, hilarious Ella that I knew she was.
Although Lola is not smiling in this picture...Her  eyes are to die for and I could not resist them! Probably 50% of the pictures that I took of her she was either eating licorice or smiling with it stuck in her teeth (Only she could pull that look off!).

I could post about 100 pictures from this shoot because they are so amazing!!

Hope you enjoyed! Until next time!

Katerina

Hello Readers!

I can't believe it has already been almost a month since my last post. Forgive me for my lack of posts! School work has definitely picked up with the end of the semester in sight as well as many shoots! In the next month I will definitely not be neglecting my blog since I have so many shoots to update you on!

So without further adieu I present Katerina! She is a vivacious Bridgewater-Raynham senior and has beauty for days. She seemed a little shy at the beginning but by the end she really became a natural! It was hard to choose what pictures were the best because there were SO MANY! Needless to say it was an amazing shoot and I can't be happier with how the pictures came out! Enjoy!

Until next time!

Everyone I'd like to introduce you to Corilyn. She is a beautiful bubbly senior. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. Here are just a couple out of the million photos that I was in love with. Clearly she is beautiful but I think these pictures really show just how amazing she is inside and out!

Stay tuned because there are a couple more seniors to come!

Rocco

Everyone meet Rocco! He is a senior from East Bridgewater and is going into the navy after he graduates. I know I was impressed too! I must say my favorite part about this shoot was Rocco's guitars. Of course he played for me and who doesn't like music while they shoot! I think it really put both of us as ease. My favorite shot was the last one of the day/at then end of this post. Rocco's mom wanted a picture of the two of them and I was more than happy to snap a couple of them. Hello baby blues! All in all it was a great shoot and I'm so happy  the way the pictures came out! Here are a couple of my favorites. Enjoy!

That is all for now! Later this week I will be posting a peak of a beautiful B-R senior's  pictures!

Dogs are a girls best friend.

I have always loved dogs since I can remember and up until I was about 19 I begged my parents to get one. Of course 4 months after I left for college my mom finally broke down and got one. "It" is not just a dog but "she" is K-9 sister, my live teddy bear, and my world. This obsession of mine's name is Sophie. She is an american cocker spaniel and will be two years old on October 15th. After discovering my passion for photography I thought what I better way to combine passion and infatuation than start taking pictures of Sophie. In the past year or so Sophie has become quite the model. She now knows that when the camera comes out she better be ready to "work it!".

As the days get colder I figure what better way to warm the heart other than some loving pictures of the model Sophie.

This was the day we got her. She was just about five pounds!
Within just a few months she gained 10/15 pounds!

When she turned about a year she realized that she was beautiful and the camera loved her!

The Sophie special head tilt.

She even models in her sleep!

This and the picture below are the most recent. At this point I can tell her to sit somewhere and she will give me slightly different poses every couple of seconds just like a professional!

When doing shoots I encourage pets, especially dogs to come along. They add some ease and fun to a shoot!

Stay tuned! More senior pictures will be popping up on my blog within the upcoming week! Congrats Class of 2011!

Sorry for the delay readers! I have been very busy with school and shoots! My most recent shoot is very close to my heart. My brother is finally getting married to his high school sweetheart! (cue the awww's!) Patrick and Christina are both amazing individuals and are also quite the power couple. I absolutely love them and can not wait for the big day =)! Here are a couple of pictures from the shoot! Enjoy the beautiful couple!
Can not wait for this day to come! Its going to be an amazing wedding full of friends, family, and love!

A beautiful bride-to-be! Need I say more?

It's amazing to watch a couple grow so strong together. They truly complement each other and I can only imagine what the future is going to bring them!
This is their pup Cashmere! She's an absolute love!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures =)! Those bright smiles will hopefully brighten your days in the rainy days ahead!

Rain, Rain, Don't go away!

Hi there!

For most of us we have checked the weather many times in hopes for clear beautiful skies without a sign of rain for days. Well for me a sign of rain is a great opportunity for some beautiful shots. Recently I went back to some of my first shots (I can't believe its been over a year now!) and found a pattern and a hidden obsession.

I am infatuated with rain. Some of my all time favorite shots have rain drops in them. There is something about photographing rain drops that warms my heart. Raindrops are filled of secrets that they refuse to reveal to the passerby. Any of the raindrops I have photographed could have traveled from the exotic Amazon or a green saturated field in Ireland. I will never find out since raindrops never tell but I still love to imagine where fell last while I photograph them.
I photographed this in November and with Christmas approaching I could not think of this was nature festooning the trees with their own Christmas lights.

With this I find that many people don't realize what nature has created. As I was walking along in College Woods in Durham, NH I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this. Two raindrops have rested on a strand of a cobweb. I actually had to have my boyfriend hold me up to capture this shot because it was quite high up in the tree. The things I do for a shot! I must say it was so worth it!
I think one of the fan favorites is this photo. Here the raindrops rest delicately along the stem of a flower.
Hopefully after reading this you now appreciate rain a little more :)
